Meet The Team
Dawn Massani, CHPC
Coach Massani is a Certified Health and Performance Coach. She guides athletes, individuals, and business professionals to realize and reach their optimal health and full performance potential which lies on the foundation of proper nutrition and the right mindset.
Dawn has had success in many different roles herself such as an athlete, business professional, educator, therapist to children and adolescents, coach and health care professional. It has been through those personal experiences and her education where she has studied the different levels of an individual, what supports them, what drives them, and what motivates them to perform at their best as well as at their worst.
Dawn takes a bio-individuality approach to her coaching that focuses on building strengths of an individual or team to address and improve their weaknesses. She believes that everyone has a recipe of success that is molded specifically to them. Dawn’s belief is no matter your role in life or career, you have the potential and opportunity to reach optimal performance. To address the specific needs of her clients, Dawn works with a team of individuals who are experts in health, mindset and performance to provide either an individual approach or wrap around service to achieve maximum results.
Dawn was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She attended a suburban Catholic High School where she received a full athletic scholarship to play basketball at Southeast Missouri State University. She graduated with a BS in Health Promotion and then went on to receive her Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. She received a certification in Integrative Health Coaching from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Dawn is a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
Coach Eileen
Yoga Sports Coach Eileen Johnson has been a multi-sport competitive athlete since the 5th grade. As her level of competition increased, so also has her awareness of the importance of yoga and flexibility and their role as injury prevention, recovery aid, cross training and mental preparedness in the life- and body- of every athlete.
Coaching has always been her calling; from basketball, track and cross country to yoga. She was drawn to specialize in yoga for athletes for the last six years, and has worked with middle school, high school and collegiate athletes and teams in football, ultimate frisbee, cross country, track, basketball, golf and tennis.
Yoga is the key element to a healthy, injury-free athlete, but it is not a one-size-fits-all discipline. Eileen uses yogic principles and tailors them to the unique body and training regimen of the individual athlete to build focus, increase flexibility, expand endurance, develop breath awareness, strengthen key muscles and restore balance to the body. A balanced athlete is an elite athlete.
TRacey A Murray-White, MA. LCSW
Tracey was recruited and earned a scholarship to run track for the University of Missouri (Mizzou). Those valuable experiences as a Conference Champion Record Setting Relay Team Member and All Conference Academic All American have guided her through a professional journey as an educator and clinical social worker for over 30 years. After earning a Master’s in Social Work from “Mizzou”, as a clinical social worker, she entered the world of in-patient treatment for a brief stint in psychiatric treatment with children and adolescents. Her passion lies in helping children and adolescents learn how to discover their inner voice and power, learn how to grow, and develop the strength to express that power in a positive, acceptable manner within society.
She gained valuable knowledge and experience working as an educator within the Chicago Public School and South Suburban School Districts. After developing critical skills within this arena, stepped into an administrative capacity by accepting a position within an alternative school. Here, she conducted crisis management and motivational training sessions to teachers and staff. Her philosophy and focus was encouraging others to strive for their own personal growth and excellence in their roles as educational instructors to this challenging population.
Currently she serves as an educator is the South Chicago Suburbs, where she is focused on serving as the school’s social/emotional barometer. In work with the students within her building, she impresses upon them that you can have all the talent in the world but if you do not have the drive and the tenacity to follow that talent up with hard work and the desire to succeed, then that talent will not sustain you. She strives to empower all of her students to live by the mantra that she subscribes to:
“Often it is tenacity, not talent that rules the day!”- Julie Cameron
ROXANNE TURNER
Roxanne Turner is an executive skills coach, mentor and speaker with over 20 years of experience in teaching, training and facilitating personal development. Roxanne brings a delightful and unique combination of humor-with-structure to her work, much of which she drew from her earlier careers in both the corporate and equestrian worlds. She is a Board-Certified Life Coach with extensive training in ADHD and the process of getting things done.
Roxanne’s passion and life’s mission is to bring out the full potential of others to create personalized success in their life. Her focus is strengthening executive skills, which are the building blocks for problem solving (everything we do) and getting things done. Roxanne founded RBT Coaching LLC in 2014 with the purpose of helping individuals elevate their game and encouraging them to realize their true potential.
Working outside the box, Roxanne identifies peoples’ strengths, processes and learning styles to help her clients realize their full potential so clients can stop spinning their wheels through customized systems that turn intention into action. For instance, she understands that ADHD is a discrepancy in performance not ability. Working with her clients, she learns their unique drivers and learning style to find the best tools and create customized systems so the client can achieve their personal goals. It’s about finding the systems and tools that matter for you.
Some of the tools are:
- Seeing and understanding time
- Working with one’s processing style
- Realistic view of the task at hand
- Self-care and self-monitoring of behaviors
- Learning the “how” of prioritization
- Above all honesty and accountability
